I’ve had a few hardcore days worrying about world events, not sleeping, working, binge watching Hoarders and stitching. It’s resulted in a decent amount of progress on the dreaded unicorn.

I really want to get this over and done with so I can start doing something that I enjoy and that is a bit more geeky/gamey and in line with my current tastes.

Speaking of gamey, not much was going on until JC mentioned this morning that certain bugs were going to disappear or appear less in Animal Crossing New Horizon. He was lovely enough on launch day to pick up a copy each in what was a blind buy for him as he’s never played it before. Over the last few days hes muttered several times how hes no idea what’s going on and is that supposed to be a talking raccoon. I on the other hand do like the game, know what goes on and hadn’t actually picked it up until this morning. The threat of stuff disappearing gave me a kick and this morning I’ve played it until the battery ran out in my switch. I’ve mostly been running around like a loon shaking trees, catching fish and netting butterflies.

I’m currently not feeling the walk upstairs to locate a switch charger which has stopped me in my tracks somewhat. I will venture and get it at some point. Until then it’s back to the cross stitch I think. I might see if I can talk JC into some more Overcooked 2 later, after all nothing can possibly go wrong…!
